For all Georgians who want change in the current Family and Children Service's system. You can be a parent or other relative fighting DFACS or foster/adoptive parent, or anyone genuinely concerned and willing to fight for Georgia's families and children.
Support group meetings around the state are being scheduled and if you would like to sit in you are welcome to. There is NO cost to join or participate although donations are always welcomed to cover expenses such as printing, advertising, and promotions. You will need a valid state issued form of ID to attend meetings so we are insured of who is there and all persons present will be noted. All meetings will be recorded and all who attend may request copies of the tapes. These meetings are confidential in nature and all who attend will be held accountable for breaking confidentiality rules. All will have to sign a confidentiality agreement before the meetings begin. The need for confidentiality is clear in such emotional and often sensitive cases and we expect all to honor this.
